Parc national de l'Île-Bonaventure-et-du-Rocher-Percé

Rocher-Percé sector

IT'S JUST TOO DANGEROUS!

Walking alongside Percé Rock and Mont-Joli is extremely dangerous. Several tons of debris fall from the rock and Mont-Joli every year, during every season. In October of 2008, an important rock fall once again forced us to revise security in all of the sector. Conclusion: the risk has become too great for all who venture into the sector which includes Mont-Joli beach and the cliffs of Percé-Rock.

To discover the area safely, we invite you to discover it  from the viewpoint of Mont-Joli, which offers a breathtaking view of Percé Rock and Bonaventure Island. Cost :1$ for access to the lookout (property of Canadian Heritage of Québec).  You can also enjoy the view from the wharf of Percé and from the boardwalk along the sea.
